Our Western Puerto Rico Section is currently seeking volunteers for 2012. Volunteers are an essential part of the IEEE organization. IEEE Section Officer Qualifications (*not applicable to Newsletter Editor and Webmaster)

The qualifications to be an IEEE Section Officer are:
1. IEEE Membership must be current (membership dues must be paid) upon entering office, and must be maintained throughout term of office.
2. Membership Grade of “Member” or above. Member, Senior Member, and Fellow grades qualify; Student and Associate Member grades do not.
3. Membership in the Western Puerto Rico Section is to be held.
*Students, Associate and Affiliate members cannot hold Section officer positions (anyone may serve as newsletter editor or webmaster).
